Refresh, Renew, Rejoice: June 18-20, 2010

Refresh, Renew, Rejoice is a spiritual formation retreat for adults that includes relaxation and recreation, learning, reflection, and worship on beautiful Lake Louise in Northern Michigan. Rev. Tamara Williams, a United Methodist pastor and the District Superintendent for Albion District, will be our retreat and worship leader. We will explore three spiritual rules – 1) Do Good, 2) Do No Harm, and 3) Stay in Love with God – designed to sustain a vibrant faith engaged in faithful discipleship in the world.

Begins with lunch, Friday, June 18

Concludes with worship after lunch, Sunday, June 20.

This retreat takes its focus from a small book entitled Three Simple Rules (75 pages) by UMC Bishop Rueben Job. Available for $5. from Cokesbury Books ( www.cokesbury.com ), participants are encouraged to read the book before the retreat and bring it with them. Copies will also be available for sale at the retreat.
