Lake Louise Tuition Rewards Program

February 26, 2013

Send Someone to Lake Louise Camp for FREE

Lake Louise Camp and Retreat Center is now the only camp in Michigan enrolled in the SAGE Scholars Tuition Rewards Program. This means that it is now possible to earn credit toward future college tuition at over 300 private colleges and universities around the country including Albion College, Adrian College and six other private colleges in Michigan. Through this program a student earns a dollar for dollar tuition credit turning the cost of camp registration into an equal dollar credit toward future college tuition. A person can start earning the credit as a young child going to elementary camp and continue earning credit through completion of the 11th grade. Through this program it is possible to have the cost of attending camp over the span of years returned to the person in the form of tuition credit toward the cost of attending college - in effect eliminating the cost of attending camp. We are very excited to offer this incentive made possible through our membership in the American Camp Association. The following link will take you to a detailed description of the program:

Help us spread the word. Attending Lake Louise Camp not only nurtures your spirit, it also supports acquiring the education needed to help change the world.

HELP BRING BROADBAND SERVICE TO OUR AREA

Charlevoix County Broadband Committee is conducting a survey to identify gaps in internet service coverage in order to implement their Connect Michigan Technology Action Plan. Residents are invited to secure copies of the survey at the County Clerk's Office, local libraries, chamber of commerce offices and city offices in Boyne City, Charlevoix and East Jordan. The survey can also be answered on line at www.surveymonkey.com/s/W5NB8RJ. We have created the Lake Louise Giving Tree. The Giving Tree is a list of items big and small, costly and inexpensive that are needed in our operation. The Giving Tree is a registry listed on Amazon.com. How can you help? Go to the giving Tree and see if there is not something there that you can purchase as a gift to Lake Louise.
