2012 Holy Ground:
Amazing Space

NASA, The National Aeronautical Spirit Agency, is seeking sojourners to embark of a mission to probe the vast depths of faith. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to feel the weightlessness of grace, orbit the Son, or blast an asteroid or two out of your trajectory. Transport yourself out of your world as we go where no camp has gone before. To eternity and beyond!

DO BRING THE FOLLOWING STUFF...
1. WARM (T-shirts, shorts, modest and appropriate swimwear, beach towel, etc) and COLD (jacket, sweat shirt, a rain coat/poncho) weather clothing along with appropriate footwear (we are at camp, after all, and flip-flops only work well at the beach - bring along your tennis shoes too). Be prepared for anything!
2. BEDDING AND SHOWER STUFF: sheets and blankets or sleeping bag, pillow and case. Towel, washcloth, soap and shampoo, toothbrush/paste, deodorant... your cabin mates will appreciate that.
3. Bible, notebook, pen.
4. Any Necessary Medications - all meds will have to be "checked in" to the camp nurse at registration.
5. Money for stuff at the camp store - candy, pop, hat, cool Lake Louise gear... There is also the ME TOO offering that campers and staff contribute to.
6. Other odds and ends... flashlight, bug spray, camera (put your name on it), musical instrument of choice, Frisbee, baseball glove, volleyball, running or hiking shoes, duct tape (it still has a million uses)...
7. You'll probably want to bring some items for the following events:
a. TALENT/SKIT night is Wednesday - bring anything you might need to perform whatever you're performing... instrument, accompaniment track, costumes, dancing shoes. Participation is optional, of course, but always a lot of fun.
b. Our BANQUET and DANCE night is Thursday when we will experience dinner "among the stars" (feel free to dress fancy or as your favorite Jedi Master/ Star Fleet officer/alien life form), followed by a chance to bust a move with your friends.

You will have an opportunity to choose some interest groups and seminars during the week. Some of the options could include:

INTEREST GROUPS
Swimming
Kayak
Recess
Art & Drawing
Music
Spa/Yoga
Scrapbooking

SEMINARS
Ministry Opportunities
Finding Your Spiritual Gifts
Relying on God
Power of a Positive Faith
How to Read the Bible

Teen Suicide

We're looking forward to seeing you on Sunday, June 24... and to seeing what our amazing and incredible God has in store for us throughout the week.

We have created the Lake Louise Giving Tree. The Giving Tree is a list of items big and small, costly and inexpensive that are needed in our operation. The Giving Tree is a registry listed on Amazon.com. How can you help? Go to the giving Tree and see if there is not something there that you can purchase as a gift to Lake Louise.
