David Gladstone, Executive Director
David came to be the Executive Director of the Lake Louise Christian Community on July 1, 2012 after serving 24 years as a United Methodist pastor in the Detroit Conference and thirteen years as a Diaconal Minister of Music serving United Methodist churches in Michigan and Illinois. David has been involved with the Detroit Conference Choir Camps since 1975 and made that camp a part of Lake Louise in 2006. In 2004 Dave took the youth choir from that camp to sing at General Conference in Pittsburgh.

David's wife, Terry, passed away in November of 2011. She was the granddaughter of Rev. Stanley Niles, one of the original founders of the Lake Louise Christian Community. They have long been members of the Lake Louise community.

David is a graduate of Albion College. He holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Michigan and an MDiv. from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, Illinois.

Hillary Thurston-Cox, Program Development Specialist
Hillary Thurston-Cox, Program Development Specialist, is an ordained elder. She has served as a pastor, youth pastor, and Christian education director at churches in Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky. She has a passion for God's people and serving them through Lake Louise Christian Community.

Thomas Crowe, Assistant Director
Having a long family history at the Lake Louise Camp (Great Grandson of Rev. Bob Shaffer, previous Camp Director), Tom decided to joined the Lake Louise Christian Community. Originally a camper (99-02), he started as a staff member in June 2003. Since then, Tom has earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, Concentrating on Management & Minoring in Accounting. He currently resides in East Jordan with his wife Angela.

Meet our New Executive Director

We have arranged a few in home gatherings for you to have an opportunity to get to know David Gladstone (or get to know him in this new capacity) and his hopes for Lake Louise.
